Here at the MPA we take our role very seriously. Policing and control of the traffic in Omicron Alpha is a difficult and demanding job. We are constantly striving to improve the effectiveness of our service to benefit you, the visitors to Malta.

We aim to provide a safe and hazard free environment around Malta for all vessels. This goal would be made much easier by visitors to our system applying a little patience and common sense. There are protocols in place for your own safety and conveniene:

1. Always announce yourself and your purpose when entering Omicron Alpha.
2. Submit to all requests from OC ships in regards to scans.
3. Follow any directions given to you by Malta Docking Control as these instructions are for your safety.
4. Docking on palnet Malta without seeking clearance is a serious violation of protocol. The repercussions for such an action may be extreme.
5. Be polite and courteous to the locals. Some are quick to anger and do not respond well to threats, ridicule or stupidity.
6. DO NOT discharge any weapons within 2.5km of the planet Malta except in self defense. Doing so may well be taken as a hostile action.
7. The carrying of Alien Artifacts, Nomad remains or Synthetic Marijuana is illegal in Outcast space. Violaters will be subject to a fine as well as having there cargo destroyed.
8. Interfering with the supply of cardamine or slaves in our space will not be tolerated. We protect our business assets with extreme prejudice.
